Triathlete Magazine names Jamie Whitmore as Xterra Triathlete of the Year

SANTA CRUZ, California — For the second year in a row, Triathlete Magazine named Bell-sponsored Jamie Whitmore as their Xterra Triathlete of the Year. Whitmore took eight wins in 2003, and finished second in the Xterra World Championships in Maui. Not bad for a 27-year-old who just started racing Xterra events in 2001. Expect Whitmore to take more podium finishes in 2004.
